Shelly Osgood Named Three-Time Finalist for “Best Staffing Company” in the Best of Eastern Jackson County Awards

For the third consecutive year, Shelly Osgood has been recognized as a finalist for Best Staffing Company in the annual Best of Eastern Jackson County awards, published by The Examiner. This acknowledgment highlights her ongoing dedication to providing compassionate, people-centered employment support within the community.
Unlike traditional staffing agencies with full teams and large infrastructures, Shelly’s nomination comes as a solo practitioner whose work has been built through word of mouth, trust, and genuine investment in helping individuals advance their careers. Her recognition among established companies underscores the meaningful impact she continues to make.
“I’m sincerely humbled,” Osgood said. “Dream It Be It started as a way to help people who felt overlooked or unsure of their next step. To be listed again among respected agencies is a reminder of why this work matters. Every résumé, every placement, every conversation with someone trying to rebuild — that’s the real reward.”
Over the past three years, Shelly has supported career seekers across Eastern Jackson County through personalized résumé development, employment coaching, interview preparation, and advocacy for underserved and marginalized populations. Her background spans more than two decades in customer service, recruiting, employment services, and disability support. She also currently serves as the Career Services Coordinator at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Kansas City, where she supports aviation students in transitioning into high-skill technical roles.
Shelly extends heartfelt thanks to the community for the continued recognition.
