I'm running a free webinar, and I'd love you in one of the first sessions.

AI Systems for Profitability in Small Businesses. Live, every Friday at 10am Central, about an hour. The room holds 100.

In plain language, we'll cover: what AI can genuinely do inside a small business today, the difference between using AI and putting it to work, where your profit and cash flow actually move, and how to start with no technical background.

It's for owners who already know AI matters, have dabbled a little, and have never been shown what it means for their money specifically.

Join us on a Friday and I'll show you exactly where the money moves πŸ‘‡

"My P&L said I made a profit β€” so where's the money?"
"I make good money and I still feel broke."
"Something is always chasing me. I'm tired of guessing."

Those are real owner words. And here's what struck me: they sit in the same head as all the AI questions, every single day.

Nobody has connected the two. Everyone's talking about AI as a subject. I'm only interested in what it does to the profit and the cash in a small business.

And for the first time, that answer is significant.

That's what I'm walking through on this Friday's webinar β€” where AI actually meets your profit and cash flow, in plain English. If you're tired of guessing, come sit in.

The whole AI conversation is loud, it changes every week, and most of it is aimed at engineers or people selling courses.

So it's easy to feel behind and unsure at the same time. And easy to decide you'll get to it later.

But the old barrier β€” "it's too technical for me" β€” is gone. Putting AI to work in a business your size doesn't need a technical background anymore.

The real gap was never your skill. It's that nobody connected AI to the question you actually care about: where the money goes.

That's the part I want to fix β€” live, this Friday. I'm walking through exactly how to point AI at your numbers so you get clarity instead of noise.

Tip of the week:

Pick the one task in your business that runs the exact same way every single week. Same steps, same order, no real decisions in it.

Write it down.

That's the first thing worth handing to AI β€” and the first place your margin quietly changes.

Repeatable work is where AI does the work, instead of just answering questions. Start small. Start boring. That's where it counts.

We're going deeper on this Friday in a free live webinar β€” how to spot the boring, repeatable work in your business and let AI carry it, so you get calm and margin back. Save your seat: https://event.webinarjam.com/8wg4gl/register/13qzqlfy

Almost every owner I talk to has used AI by now. Asked it a question. Had it write an email. Maybe built a little tool for one repetitive task.

It helped. It was interesting. And then it mostly sat there.

Here's what I keep noticing: that's useful β€” but it barely scrapes the surface of what AI can do for a business your size.

There's a real difference between AI that answers your questions and AI that does actual work in your business. The second kind is the one that changes your margin and your cash flow.

Most owners have only met the first one.

This Friday I'm running a live webinar walking through what that second kind looks like in a real business. Come see it for yourself β€” register here: https://event.webinarjam.com/8wg4gl/register/13qzqlfy

Ever look at your bank balance, see money sitting there, and still have no idea if you can actually afford to pay yourself this month?

That gap is what a simple cash flow system fixes. Instead of one big account you're constantly guessing at, you split your money into a few purpose-based buckets, so you can see at a glance what's for tax, what's for you, and what's safe to spend.

And here's the thing most owners worry about right here: "But I'm not a finance person."

Good. You don't need to be.

Most owners I meet didn't go to school for business finance. They're the best in the world at what they actually do, and finance simply wasn't on the list. That's normal, and there's nothing wrong with it.

It just means your system has to work in the real world of a busy owner, not in a textbook.

Want to see what that could look like for you? Let's take an honest look at your cash flow together and find the simplest setup that fits how you run.

Ever check your bank balance before deciding if you can afford something? Most owners do. If the number looks okay, we spend. If it looks tight, we freeze.

The trouble is that balance is lying to you. It doesn't know your tax bill is coming. It doesn't know what's already owed. So you feel fine right up until you don't, and then tax season hits like a surprise you should've seen coming.

You're not bad with money. You just never had a system that showed you the real picture.

Here's the smallest possible first step to fix it:

1. Open one new account. Name it Tax.

2. On your next deposit, move just 1% into it. Small enough you won't feel it. Real enough to start the habit.

3. Do it again on the next one.

That's the whole ask. One account, one percent, one deposit at a time.

What you're building is a bit of money set aside before it ever feels like yours to spend. No scramble. No surprise bill. Just a little more peace every time you check that balance.

Systems beat scrambling, and this is exactly where the scrambling starts to stop.

Here's how simple Profit First actually is.

No software to master. No formula to memorize. You open a few checking accounts and start moving money between them. That's the whole starting move, and it's enough to see real results.

Profit First was created by Mike Michalowicz. The one thing that never changes is the sequence: Profit, then Owner's Pay, then Tax, then Operating Expenses.

The percentages flex to fit your business. But profit gets its share first, because when profit is treated as leftover, it almost never shows up.

Most cash flow systems fail for one quiet reason. They ask you to stop being human.

Almost every owner runs on bank balance accounting. You check the number in your account before a decision. Cash there, you pay the bill. No cash, you wait. It's natural, and it keeps you stuck in reactive, stressful thinking.

Profit First doesn't fight that habit. It channels it.

You don't have to change how you think about money. You just have to move a little of it out of reach before you get the chance to spend it.

A client new to Profit First asked me the honest question last week: "Do I actually need this to be profitable?"

Honest answer: no. Plenty of systems can work.

The real question was never whether Profit First is the only way. It's which system fits how YOU already think, the owner, not the business.

For most small business owners I meet, that turns out to be Profit First. I'll tell you why over the next few days.
