I have requested all photos and all information related to my son Devyn from him missing, to him being found deceased and anything after, be officially released to me, his mother.
I requested all entities/organizations/agencies involved along with any notes and who has been questioned, the outcome of these interviews (if any) and to be kept up to speed on any future developments or people of interest that they are made aware of.
I wrote a letter, signed and dated with all of my contract information on it and walked into the Anderson County Sheriff’s office handing it off to a clerk behind the glass, who said she was going to give it to the Sheriff (McClain) when he got to the office as he was not in the office at the time.
This was last Wednesday the 29th of July (2026) between 1:30-3 PM. Today, it’s Wednesday August 5th 2026. I have heard nothing back at all.
Does anyone know who I need to go to regarding this and getting something actually done here? I want his (Devyn’s) records released to me officially, with all photos included. I know they exist because a detective told me they were there a few years ago. Plus, I was with the search party when he was found and know that the scene, with Devyn in it, was processed and photographed.
I could use some helpful guidance with this endeavor please.
