We are a local Big Island ʻohana with a vision of a Hawaiʻi and world where our keiki and honey bees have a safe, clean, and pesticide-free environment necessary to thrive. We believe that honey bees are important for the well-being of our families now and for future generations.

Change is hard but remaining stagnant is harder! It is our hope that with every jar of Hoʻōla honey, our story, values & lāʻau shine through in an authentic way that is just simply, us.

Super late post but it was so cool to check out this honey bee exhibit at

The boys were stoked to find themselves on the wall of Hawaiʻi island beekeepers, watch a documentary on Kona beekeeping and meet Uncle Gus Rouse who was a OG Kona queen breeder.

Great job on putting together such a thoughtful and informative exhibit!

Mele Manaka 2025

So beyond grateful for this amazing community event we got to be a part of! We never got a family photo cause the boys were off jumping pond & we were too busy talking story 😆 but this has to be one of our favorite mākeke to date! We usually leave markets feeling drained but this one left us feeling motivated & refreshed to be a part of such a beautiful and supportive lāhui 🧡🧡 Thank you to every single one of you who stopped to say hi & stock up on your honey 🍯

Huge mahalo to & all your ʻohana for your hard work and thoughtfulness that went into creating this event and the opportunity for us small businesses to be a part of it! We could really feel the COMMMUNITY and we are so grateful.

Mahalo piha from our ʻohana for another amazing Hoʻomau Market! It takes a lot for us small town folk to get out of Kohala 😆 but you make it all worth it!

We are always blown away by the love and support for our family & honey, and it just warms our heart to see loyal customers turned official “Hoʻōla auntys” coming back year after year to restock their pantry and then buy even more to gift to all their friends!

For us it has always been about nourishing our lāhui so thank you for letting us share our healing honeys with you all 🧡

Big mahalo to Kailee and all her ʻohana that put so much hard work into making run smoothly and successfully.

We are so excited about our latest soap collab with ! 💜🧡

Earlier this year we made a special lavender infused honey with Waimea grown lavender from , and after straining the flowers from the honey we didn’t know what to do with all the lavender! So of course we called our friend Love and she knew exactly what to make with it…

As an ʻohana run business, our keiki work hard alongside us to bring Hoʻōla honey from the bees to your home. From rescuing bees as a family, checking hives & harvesting honey to mixing, bottling, labeling, and taste testing 😆, there are many steps along the way & our hands literally put lots of aloha into every Hoʻōla jar in this process.

We are proud to bring a taste of our small town home Kohala with us to the big city. Come and see us at our first & stock your shelves with the best kine lāʻau 🍯✨
