We love seeing our Crimson clover pop in our garden, such a gorgeous shade of red! We decided a few years back to do a mix of white clover seed, and grass seed on our own lawn, once we learned about the benefits of clover. Our grass has become a thick carpet ever since! Although many find it to be a w**d, it has many benefits:
Natural Fertilization: Clover is a legume that extracts nitrogen from the air and pumps it into the soil, feeding your grass naturally.
Drought Tolerance: Clover has deep roots that stay lush and green during hot summer droughts when standard turf goes dormant and turns brown.
W**d and Pest Suppression: It forms a dense, rapid-spreading root system that naturally outcompetes and smothers broadleaf w**ds like dandelions
🍀 our crimson clover adds a splash of color to our garden, and acts as a natural green manure by adding essential nitrogen back into the soil for our flowers🙂
