TWO CARTHAGE COLLEGE STUDENTS CHARGED IN SEPARATE CHILD PO*******HY CASES IN KENOSHA COUNTY
Kenosha, Wis. — Two Carthage College students have been charged in separate, unrelated felony cases in Kenosha County involving allegations of possession of child po*******hy.
Dawson P. Stache, 19, of Rock City, Illinois, has been charged with four counts of Possession of Child Po*******hy, all Class D felonies. According to the criminal complaint, the investigation began after law enforcement received information from a Snapchat CyberTip that was later referred to Kenosha authorities. Investigators determined the account was connected to a student residing in the Carthage College dormitories and identified Stache as the suspect. The complaint alleges investigators reviewed Snapchat records, identified multiple files associated with the account, and later executed a warrant at Stache’s dorm room. The complaint further alleges that Stache admitted the Snapchat account belonged to him, acknowledged communicating with multiple underage girls, and made statements indicating he knew some of the individuals involved were children.
George Q. Barrock, 21, of Sheboygan Falls, has been charged with one count of Possession of Child Po*******hy, a Class D felony. According to the criminal complaint, that investigation began after the Kenosha Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit received a CyberTip generated through Discord regarding an allegedly illegal video file. Investigators traced the account information to Carthage College campus housing. The complaint alleges that Barrock later admitted he had participated in groups where s*xually explicit images were shared.
“These are serious felony offenses involving the s*xual exploitation of children, and they will be prosecuted accordingly,” said District Attorney Xavier Solis. “My office will continue to work closely with the Kenosha Police Department and Internet Crimes Against Children detectives to protect children, pursue accountability, and hold offenders responsible.”
All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law
