Last year, I worked with to help me design a garden that produced results. It was my first year seeking out advice and direction vs winging it and forever thankful for my girl! We truly did produce better results. This year, I took it a step further with my research and the goal is 3x are garden to support our family and close friends!

I always joke that my Kindle is always on me, but it is! The other day, a coworker said it’s admirable that I mainly read instead of watching TV or being on social media. In all actuality, I am on social media, just way less, and TV is something I watch with my family. We are currently watching season 2 of Paradise and waiting for From to come back. Fun fact: I used to have a blog post series called WIMB, where I interviewed entrepreneurs and we got to see what was in their bags. Well, today I’m sharing a peek into my purse collection and which Kindle fits best in each one.

Compared to last two months of Q1 this was a slow month for reading. I started a lot of books that didn’t stick with me, but what I love most is a majority of these books are by the same author! So I spent time in their catalogs and it was so fun. Of course, I listened to highly anticipated audiobook of Demon’s Dream. I read the book last year, and just know Kenny woke up two days in a row and said “it’s 1 am are you still reading” baby I was locked in. The audiobook makes some of my favorite lines even more funnier. What book did you read in March you loved?

I remember when Tre was in elementary school and I wanted him to read more. I spoke with Mrs. D, his librarian, about options. The first thing she said was, “Graphic novels are reading, and always remember that. You want to find something that interests him, not what you think he should read.” That has stuck with me years almost 10 years later. Over the years, Tre has read a variety of books and series. All of these are great options if you want to get your son, nephew, or grandchild into reading more. The high school books are also ones I have read. In the summer, we do family reading. Tre gets a physical copy, and I listen to audio or read on my Kindle. It is great if you can find a book that has been turned into a movie too. You can create a plan to discuss it together as a family.

In January, I read over twenty four books, and in February, drumroll please 🥁🥁🥁🥁, I read sixteen books. Once again, my goal for the year is seventy five books, and I am almost there. This month, as you can see, KC Mills was my most read author again. I had several ARCs and ALCs and found new authors to dive into. Daggermouth was my favorite this month, and it is not my usual genre. What books did you read in February, and what are you reading in March?
