One of the central claims of my book A Boss Called Dream is this:
"Students with dreams behave differently. A dream is not just a wish, it is a compass and a compass changes how a person moves."
This was not a theory. It was something I observed firsthand. The students who could articulate a dream, a direction, a goal, a vision of themselves in the future were measurably less present in high-risk behavioral environments. The ones who could not articulate one were disproportionately over-represented in those spaces.
That observation became action research. That action research became this book. Available now on Amazon — link in the comment section.
