Danielle Conklin Photography Portrait Photographer I take pride in getting to know my clients, what types of photos they want hanging on their walls or handed out to loved ones.

I make a lot of my props, i want to make your session personal and memorable. I try to keep my fees at an affordable rate, no package is ever set in stone. I will always work within any budget. I am a firm believer that NO photo should cost you as much as your mortgage. You should not have to decide to pay bills or have a great photo. I am available for Parties, Births, Sweet 16 and more. I can work with you on the price that fits right for every occasion. I have holiday mini sessions at a discounted rate and post contests monthly. Gift Certificates are available as well. I never imagined I'd be writing a post like this.

For the last several years, I've poured my heart into creating magical holiday sets for your families. I loved seeing your excitement when you walked into my studio and watching your children light up. It was one of my favorite parts of the year.

This year is different.

As many of you know, after losing our home, I also lost my studio and the space where I created those holiday scenes. Right now, I simply don't have the ability to build the elaborate sets I've become known for.

I'll be honest... that hurts.

Photography has never just been a job to me. It's been my passion for over 15 years. It's been my therapy, my creative escape, and one of the few things that has continued to bring me joy through everything we've been facing.

So instead of skipping the season altogether, I'm choosing to embrace something different.

This year, I'm going back to where it all began.

Simple outdoor fall and holiday mini sessions. No elaborate backdrops. No fancy props. No distractions. Just beautiful natural light, genuine laughter, authentic moments, and the people you love most.

In a way, that's what the holidays are really about.

If you've ever supported my photography, shared my work, or trusted me to capture your family's memories, I'm asking you to consider booking with me this season. Your support means more than just another session. It helps my family as we continue rebuilding our lives, and it reminds me that even after losing so much, I haven't lost what matters most—my passion and the privilege of preserving your memories.

If you’re not aware of the severity of our situation, our home suffered catastrophic structural damage after a massive tree crashed into it on March 12th. Since that night, our home has been completely unlivable.
There is no power. No water. No working restroom. The home is still partially open to the elements, despite our attempts to board it up as best we can. Rodents, squirrels, birds, rain, and weather continue to make their way inside. Every time we step foot there, we risk injury because the structure itself is unsafe. Floors, walls, and ceilings are compromised, and there is always the fear of collapse or getting seriously hurt trying to salvage pieces of our life.
We understand these things take time. We understand investigations and reports are part of the process. But no family should go this long without some type of payout or assistance when their home has been destroyed. It has now been over two months of waiting, uncertainty, stress, and surviving day by day while trying to keep our heads above water.
My own insurance has been no help, and we relied on the neighbor’s homeowner’s insurance to do the right thing because this disaster was not our fault. It was not our tree. It was not due to neglect on our property. We did everything we were supposed to do, and yet we are the ones left displaced, struggling, exhausted, angry, heartbroken, and financially drained.
We are trying so hard to stay strong, but the truth is our funds are dangerously low. Hotel costs, food, daily expenses, transportation, and trying to rebuild some sense of normalcy have completely overwhelmed us.
I hate asking for help. I truly do. But until the insurance company finally steps up and does what should have been done already, we still need your support. Every donation, share, message, and prayer has helped carry us through the darkest period of our lives.
I promise when we are back on our feet, I will spend the rest of my life paying kindness forward however I can.
