ATLANTA PRIDE CANCELS OCT 10 EVENTS, OCT 11 EVENTS, INCLUDING PARADE TO CONTINUE AS PLANNED Hurricane Isiaias is forecast to make landfall Friday night. Atlanta pride has canceled Saturday activities but plans to continue with Sunday events including the Pride parade.

From Atlanta Pride "Due to the threat of severe weather and anticipated hazardous conditions, all Atlanta Pride Festival programming scheduled for Saturday, October 10, has been canceled.

This cancellation applies to SATURDAY ONLY. Atlanta Pride fully anticipates that Sunday's festival activities, including the Atlanta Pride Parade, will proceed as planned, weather and safety conditions permitting.

Adjustments to the entertainment lineup and programming are underway, and additional details will be shared as they become available.

Saturday-only Premium Passes will be honored on Sunday, October 11.

THE SHOW MUST GO ON: After TriPride announced it's cancelation of the festival for Saturday, New Beginnings Bar shared on their social media that they will host TriPride Drag Performers at its location 2910 Bristol Hwy in Johnson City TN.

COLUMBIA TN PRIDE CANCELED: Columbia TN Pride scheduled for October 10th, has been canceled due to weather. ABC News reports Hurricane Isiaias "reaching the Gulf Coast communities between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m" tonight. Charting the path of this hurricane it appears it will go through Alabama, West Tennessee and to Kentucky. It's my experience the pride festivals can handle a little bit of rain, but there can be serious damage and danger related to high winds. If you've never seen what strong winds can do to a canopy tent consider yourself lucky. While we are all saddened by this news, I'm glad that all of our communities will be safe by not going to events that are in the path of this hurricane. Beau Knowles LGBT

Columbia TN Pride Board statement, "It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the 2026 Columbia TN Pride Festival, scheduled for tomorrow, October 10, at Riverwalk Park.

This decision was not made lightly. We have spent the past several days closely monitoring the weather and consulting with local emergency management officials, holding onto hope that we could move forward with this year's celebration. Unfortunately, the anticipated weather conditions have left us with no choice but to prioritize the safety of our attendees, vendors, volunteers, performers, and community.

We know how much this event means to so many people. Columbia Pride is more than a festival. It is a celebration of community, acceptance, and belonging. We share in the disappointment of everyone who was looking forward to coming together tomorrow.

While we are heartbroken that we cannot celebrate together this weekend, our commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive space for the LGBTQIA+ community in Columbia and Maury County remains unchanged.

TRIPRIDE FESTIVAL SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER: TriPride said in a statement today that they are canceling the Pride Festival scheduled for Saturday October 10th in Bristol's TN/VA due to the forecasted severe weather caused by Hurricane Isiaias after it reaches landfall early Saturday morning.

They stated "Friends, It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of tomorrow’s TriPride Parade and Festival due to forecasted inclement weather, particularly the wind.

This decision was not made lightly. We know how much this day means to our LGBTQ+ community, our allies, our vendors, our sponsors, our performers and everyone who has worked tirelessly to bring this celebration to life. We’ve all been looking forward to this day -- coming together to celebrate love, visibility, inclusion, and the progress we continue to make as a community… so this announcement is difficult.

While we are prepared to navigate light rain, the forecasted sustained winds and gusts present significant safety concerns, particularly for the approximately 120 vendor tents on site and the tree-covered areas of the festival grounds. The safety of our attendees, vendors, volunteers, performers, and EMS/city partners must come first.

We know this news is disappointing, especially after so much planning, preparation, and excitement. Please know that this decision comes from a place of care and responsibility for the community we serve.

Pride is more than one day, more than one parade or one festival. It is the community we build, the people we stand beside, and the love and resilience we carry with us all year long.

Beau Knowles LGBT I greatly enjoyed going to TriPride Festival last year in Bristol VA/TN. It was the first time I had gone to this event. It was well organized with over 100 manders, resources, and performers. I loved running into my friends at these events. I wish everyone that had already started to travel to this event and those that are going to be at other Pride festivals safe travels. TriPride is completely correct. Pride is 365 days a year. But we do enjoy coming together to celebrate. Stay Safe friends.
