Good Morning Fb friends and Family. Those who know me, know I am a trained Grief , Trauma ,& Loss Specialist:

The past week I have shared the Loss of My Brilliant Exceptional Nephew Adrian Dukes II.
Im just the aunt and IT HURTS..

Its Nothing, not an inkling to what his Mom, Dad, sister, brother are feeling , thinking , being overwhelmed by unimaginable pain.. Please keep them in your prayers. Remember their true journey begins after the memorial....

Grief has a ripple effect: I have friends, I have heard of strangers being touched by the announcement of the Death of Adrian Dukes II. This is Ambiguous Grief or Dissociative grief and it is ok and it is real.

If know someone that has had a loss, reach out to them, check on them - days, weeks, months even years later. Dont assume they are ok ...

Today has been so crazy. My emotions were all over the place having to face another year without my angel and receiving some distirbing news today.. Yet, My babies John Brown( Haven) , Tyra Brown, Karma & Heaven Farmer just brought me a card some earrings and a beautiful candle to show me some.love and to cheer me up.

God had a ram in the bush. Now I feel much better.

Back to taking care of business.

Today ( or should I say at this moment) I dont want to be bothered.. its so weird I feel ok in my head but in my lower area ,inside my emotions are raging like the rivers we just witnessed from the hurricane

Tomorrow is my moms Wilma Dukes birthday but Im mad as Hell, I miss her, I feel agitated and sad all at the same Damn time..I Know ITS GRIEF

As a Grief Trauma Specialist I recognize what I am experiencing. It is very uncomfortable but I know to honor it, respect it, give myself some self care/ love.. Just as the waves rolled in and tried to overtake me - this wave of pain, agitation will roll back out.. THIS TOO SHALL PASS.. I Love You Mama..
