Let’s look deeper at your aging loved ones’ ability to think and process information ….. for our conversation we continue to use “Mom”,

- Is she getting confused while using her cell phone, tv remote, microwave, oven, dishwasher, or washer & dryer?
- Is she having trouble understanding the concept of time, reading a clock, or attending appointments?
- Is Mom more confused late in the afternoon and evening?
- Is she more agitated or aggressive, especially at night?
- Does she try to leave the house without proper attire and or late at night saying she needs to “go somewhere”?
- Does Mom have trouble making recipes she has made for decades or following a recipe?

Let’s take a closer look at how your aging loved one completes activities ….. for our conversation we use “Mom”,

- Is she getting lost while driving to the grocery, hairdresser, church, etc?
- Is she wearing the same soiled clothes day after day?
- Is she “unkept” or have body odor?
- Is she burning items on the stove or in the microwave?
- Is there spoiled food in the fridge?
- Is she bouncing checks, paying bills twice, or missing payments?
- Is she missing appointments - doctors, medical testing, luncheons, church, hairdressers, nail appointments, etc.
- Are there piles of dirty dishes and/or laundry?
