Registration is required to take part on our upcoming free LGBTQIA+ support groups in partnership with Compassion Counseling! These support groups start April 3, with separate sessions for youth and adults. The location will be announced only to attendees to ensure safety. Sessions will be led by a licensed, affirming mental health professional, with background-checked members of Blount Pride's board of directors present. We are beyond excited to introduce the newest member of our Compassion Counseling family, Cait McMahan! 🎉

Cait is joining our team as our new Youth and Young Adult Therapist.

Cait isn’t just an incredible therapist—she’s also a two-time National Champion who played under the legendary Pat Summitt at the University of Tennessee! 🏀 After earning her bachelor’s in communications, she followed her passion for mental health, completing her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Lincoln Memorial University.

When she’s not helping others, Cait loves hiking, camping, traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family, including her two cats and Cane Corso 🐾. Her heart for serving the community makes her the perfect addition to our team, and we’re so lucky to have her!
