Hi pals! Maybe you’ve noticed how quiet it’s been over here at Dani Rose Photo lately and it’s time for me to share more about that. I’ve been quite busy with my full-time job (which I love!) and life, which just seems to keep coming up with new ways to be surprising, exhausting, messy, and beautiful all at the same time. I’ve continued to do sessions and small weddings here and there and not sharing much on social media to save some time and also cut down on inquiries I really can’t manage (and I’m terrible at saying “no”!).
Today, I’d like to officially announce the retirement of Dani Rose Photo 🥹 I have been so lucky to have been trusted with the most important moments and memories in people’s lives and have loved the experience more than words can really express. And while it would be awesome to keep at it, I know I can’t give my photo work the time and attention it deserves anymore. It’s difficult to hang up the camera, but it’s time and I feel really at peace about it, which tells me I’m finally ready to share the news with all of you 🩷 I have one more wedding this fall (here’s looking at you, Jennifer!) and will complete the couple of ‘first year’ series I have left, and then that will officially conclude my bookings (oh- and I WILL get you all in!).
I have no intention of shutting down my website, but over the next couple of months, the site will undergo some changes to reflect its new purpose which is to be a gallery site moving forward. As always, I encourage you to download and backup your images in case the site does eventually need to be made inactive. Oh, and for the love, please print some and enjoy them in real life!
Thanks so much to all of you who have supported me, trusted me, and especially recently, been patient with me as I have struggled to get things accomplished in a timely manner 🤪 I have loved my photographer era immensely and am closing it out with such gratitude!
Holler if you need recommendations for a Knoxville photographer- happy to help connect you with a great fit!
