Raccoons have never, nor ever will be, pets. Once mature, they get extremely aggressive. They are also a major rabies and raccoon round worm vector.

A raccoon in Maine was euthanized and tested for rabies after a woman brought it into a pet store for a nail trim and some customers kissed it, state wildlife authorities said. https://bit.ly/42akqcH

It's springtime and are out.
You don't want the snake there? The best advice is to determine what attracted the snake and remove the attractant. Is it a brush pile, rock pile, or thick vegetation?

Snakes are beneficial creatures and we appreciate their ecological role. Find more on TN snakes at: https://www.tn.gov/twra/wildlife/reptiles/snakes.html

Snakes are out and moving. Watch where you put your hands and where you step.

Warm weather naturally draw us humans to the outdoors, but it’s also the time of year when snakes become active.

Here at ACP Wildlife, we get the pleasure of working with numerous species of wildlife. We get a few calls on these modern day dinosaurs. We can safely and humanely remove and relocate these eating machines. Focusing on safety, since these big guys can take a finger and the last thing we want to do is harm them.
