Raccoons have never, nor ever will be, pets. Once mature, they get extremely aggressive. They are also a major rabies and raccoon round worm vector.

A raccoon in Maine was euthanized and tested for rabies after a woman brought it into a pet store for a nail trim and some customers kissed it, state wildlife authorities said. https://bit.ly/42akqcH

These groundhogs were undermining a client's foundation. We caught these the first day of having traps out. Give us a call if you have damage being created by nuisance animals.

Snakes are out. We have 2 venomous species on the Cumberland Plateau. The copperhead and the timber rattlesnake.

You don't want the snake there? The best advice is to determine what attracted the snake and remove the attractant. Is it a brush pile, rock pile, or thick vegetation?

Here at ACP Wildlife, we get the pleasure of working with numerous species of wildlife. We get a few calls on these modern day dinosaurs. We can safely and humanely remove and relocate these eating machines. Focusing on safety, since these big guys can take a finger and the last thing we want to do is harm them.

Guess what season it is in Tennessee. These odiferously offensive critters are everywhere this time of year. Thier favorite den sites are under decks and crawlspaces. They routinely gain access under the ductwork of outside ac units. Give us a call if you think you have an unwanted tenant.

Post exposure rabies treatments are now running approximately $30,000 dollars. I have multiple calls a year of "sick" raccoons. I even saw recently where someone put a sick raccoon into a pet carrier. Please stay away from wildlife and remember that rabies is basically 100% fatal.

Coyotes regularly climb chainlink fences and can climb some trees as well. They are here to stay but their population can be controlled.
