We messed up. ❗️
Most of the time, people don’t like admitting when they make a mistake—but we would like to highlight our mistakes today. As we were finishing up this sidewalk, the concrete started drying faster than expected. While the sidewalk is structurally sound, we weren’t happy with some of the finer finishing details, and it simply didn’t meet the high-quality standard we hold ourselves to.
So, what did we do about it? ✅
We gave our customer two options:
👉 We would completely re-pour the sidewalk at no additional cost to them. OR 👉 They could keep the sidewalk that was already poured and we would give them the entire sidewalk for free.
Our customer chose to keep the sidewalk, and most importantly, they were still 100% satisfied with the project.
So, what’s the point of this post? 🏆
We’re sharing this because the truth is, life—and construction—doesn’t always go perfectly. Things happen. Mistakes happen. What matters is how you respond when they do. This decision could have cost us nearly $4,000 to make things right, but we were willing to do it because that’s who we are.
We’re a small company, and we still believe that your word matters, your reputation matters, quality matters, and people matter.
In a time when it can feel like companies are more focused on cutting corners than standing behind their work, we want to be different.
We believe in doing quality work, treating people fairly, standing behind what we do, and always doing the right thing—even when it costs us.
Because that’s who we are. 🇺🇸🤝
Thank you to our customers who continue to trust us with their homes and projects. We don’t take that trust for granted. ❤️
