A God who created you by His very own breath, was tortured and killed for you, is always with you, and loves you deeper than you can imagine; deserves more than a superficial display, but a wholehearted desire to live for Him! It’s easy to ask about Him, it’s requires seeking to know him, and it requires knocking to obey him. Ask-Seek-Knock….and He will welcome you in.

“For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

An aesthetic Jesus is easy to misunderstand or be angry when things don’t go your way. A real relationship trusts the God they know even if, even when, and even though. The only God who saves, rescues, and delivers. If you want a real relationship, you’ve got to Ask God into your heart, seek His word and pray, and knock to enter through faith. When will you be tired of dealing with fake, and go deeper for real?

Lord, may we seek your presence over posting, your word over opinions, your way over ours, and a real relationship over ideology.

Nothing tests our trust like fear.

We’re all going to face circumstances that stir up feelings of doubt and fear. It's what we do with those feelings that matters.

Thankfully, the life of one of my favorite kings to study, King Jehoshaphat, offers us wisdom about what to do in the face of fear.

In 2 Chronicles 20, we find three countries banded together, forming a massive army, to attack Jehoshaphat’s much smaller country of Judah. If ever there were a time for a king to fall apart, this would have been it. But Jehoshaphat didn’t.

I am both inspired and challenged by how he chose to react to his overwhelming circumstances: “Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the LORD, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah” (2 Chronicles 20:3).

Do you see how King Jehoshaphat’s name is bookended in two realities: “alarmed” and “resolved”? He had both feelings of alarm, which were a natural human response to his threatening situation, and a supernatural resolve to inquire of the Lord. The resolve was a predetermined pattern, built over time, that emerged naturally as the feelings of alarm rose within him.

I want this for my life. I want my resolve to inquire of the Lord to be my first response, not my last resort. When I get caught off guard, stunned by threatening circumstances in the world, or unexpectedly wounded by a hurtful statement, I can literally feel my body being overrun with a flood of emotions.

Though seeking the Lord doesn’t always come naturally as my first response, it is the only way to infuse supernatural strength into my resolve. The more I turn to the Lord in daily struggles, the more natural it is to return to Him in times of unexpected trouble.

Does this mean I’ll never wrestle with feelings of fear? Of course not. But I’m learning that while we sometimes feel afraid, we don’t have to live afraid. We can be alarmed and resolved at the same time. We can let our declaration mirror Jehoshaphat’s words to God in 2 Chronicles 20:12: “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you” (NIV).

“Are my hands open enough to receive what God wants to give in His way?”

Prayer: Lord, teach me how to release what I have been holding too tightly. Help me trust You enough to remain open to Your direction, Your timing, and Your way of working in my life. Amen.

Today we celebrate! Not just our freedom or the 250th birthday of America, but our FREEDOM in Christ. Who the son sets free, is free indeed!
“So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8‬:‭36‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Declare with me today over you, your family, the Lord’s people:

We are free from any strongholds, word curses, sin, generational attachment, debt, bo***ge, fear, doubt, or hurt! By HIS stripes we are healed! God, we thank you for our freedom, that you break every chain and we are free because of You! We declare total freedom, peace, and deliverance over our minds, bodies, and spirit. We stand firm on your word, speaking life over our families, breathe fresh wind over us while demolishing every stronghold by the blood of Jesus, we are FREE! We ask that you destroy every delay, depression, illness, or any power of darkness that would hold back or deter your children, in Jesus name!

How do you know? Because my father said so! As parents, we sometimes say, “Because I said so!” No explanation or argument needed….it’s because we know best, like our Father in Heaven knows best, and His word says so! So receive His word, speak it with your mouth, and believe it in your heart!

I am FREE! I speak freedom over your people today:

“He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭22‬ ‭NLT‬‬
“But the Lord is good; he has cut me free from the ropes of the ungodly.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭129‬:‭4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
John‬ ‭8‬:‭32‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Christ has set us free to live a free life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬ ‭MSG‬‬
“For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God is raising up mothers in this hour.

Not just women who know how to survive hardship, but women who know how to carry glory.

Women who carry both oil and children at the same time.

Women with spit up on their shoulders and fire in their spirits.

Women who can wipe tears with one hand and wield the sword of the Spirit with the other.

The Lord is anointing mamas again.

Not just for kitchens and carpools.

Not just for schedules and routines.

But for intercession.

For spiritual warfare.

For revival.

God is raising up women who can cast out demons and still rock babies to sleep.

Women who can travail in prayer at midnight and still get up before dawn to pack lunches and speak life over their homes.

The enemy underestimated these women because he only saw their tenderness, but

Heaven saw their authority.

There are mothers who have prayed for everybody else’s prodigal while secretly weeping over their own.

Mothers who have stood in the altar believing God for other people’s breakthroughs while silently carrying heartbreak in their own homes.

God has seen every hidden tear.

He has heard every whispered prayer prayed after everyone else went to sleep.

You have not prayed in vain.

There are women who have stood in the gap until there was no gap left.

Women who refused to let their families slip into darkness.

Women who warred over children, marriages, churches, cities, and generations.

Your labor has not gone unnoticed.

The Lord is raising up mothers who have been the heart of the home, but now He is expanding their burden until they begin to carry His heart for a lost and dying world.

What started around a dinner table is about to spill into the streets.

What was cultivated in prayer closets is about to shake regions.

These mothers are not weak.

They are watchmen.
They are gatekeepers.
They are nurturers with discernment.
They are warriors wrapped in compassion.

The oil on them was not produced in comfort.

It was brought forth out of seasons of betrayal, exhaustion, hidden prayers, and nights where they wondered if anybody saw the weight they carried.

But oil was being produced the crushing.

There is a generation of mothers arising now who will not just raise children, they will raise altars again.

They will teach sons how to pray and daughters how to burn for God.

Their homes will become places of deliverance. Their living rooms will become sanctuaries.

Their voices will become battering rams against hell itself.

The Spirit of the Lord is putting fire back in the mothers.

He is restoring the sound of praying women.

He is awakening the ones who carry both compassion and confrontation.

They will love deeply, but they will not tolerate darkness.

They will nurture, but they will also war.

And through them, God will preserve an entire generation.
