𝗥𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲🚨

We’re excited to share that we’re getting closer to reopening our retail store!

Our new retail location is in the building on 24th Street, conveniently located between our previous store and the Paramount Club. We are currently working with the City to update the official address so it properly reflects the building’s 24th Street location.

For now, the official address is 2405 Saint Vincent Ave., LaSalle, IL 61301.

There is still so much to do, and we’re working very hard to get everything ready. Our team has been working tirelessly over the past few weeks to get everything up and running after the fire.

We are incredibly grateful for the support, kind words, and prayers we’ve received since the fire nearly two weeks ago that destroyed our business. Your encouragement has meant so much to our entire team during this difficult time.

Over the past two weeks, we’ve been working hard to rebuild and get back to serving our customers. While there is still much to do, we’re making progress every day.

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬:
Batteries and Things is planning to open a small retail store just down the road from our original location—between our former store and the Paramount Club!

Our team is working as quickly as possible to prepare the new location, and we are hopeful that we’ll be able to welcome customers back within the next month.

Yesterday was a devastating day for all of us. As many of you now know, our building was destroyed by a fire.

While we have suffered an unimaginable loss, we are incredibly grateful that all 12 of our employees are safe. The fire occurred after business hours, and thankfully no one was inside the building.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the first responders, police officers, and fire departments who worked tirelessly throughout the night to contain the fire. Your professionalism, dedication, and efforts to keep the surrounding area safe did not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for everything you did.

We are also overwhelmed by the kindness, prayers, and support we've already received from our customers, friends, neighbors, and community. Your encouragement means more to us than words can express during this incredibly difficult time.

We would also like to sincerely apologize to our neighbors and the surrounding community for any disruption, inconvenience, or concern this incident may have caused. We appreciate everyone's patience, understanding, and cooperation as emergency crews responded and worked to keep everyone safe.

At this time, our operations are temporarily paused as we assess the damage and determine our next steps.
