Our first Connection Table at the new location was a wonderful beginning. The food arrived fast, the transition was smooth, and the conversations got real.

Today we explored The Art of the Ask—the fear that keeps us from asking, and how we can learn to ask for ourselves instead of always advocating for everyone else.

NEW TABLE. NEW ROOM. SAME MISSION.

The Connection Table is going on the road, and our next stop is Palm Desert!

And yes, we know — quite the contrast. That’s kind of the point.

We believe human connection can be activated in any room, around any table.

Different spaces. Different businesses. Different people showing up in different chapters of their lives. That’s what makes this a living laboratory — and we’re excited to see where it can go.

Because ultimately, it’s not about the room. It’s about who shows up at the table.

And one thing remains at the center of everything we do:

Relationships before transactions.

Because anything built the other way around simply isn’t sustainable.

Who shows up? Who makes room? Who starts the conversation? Who makes the invitation? Who is willing to ask?

Yesterday’s Connection Table felt a little different.

We’re starting to see what happens after people leave the table.

I’m getting messages and testimonials about conversations continuing, ideas surfacing, introductions leading somewhere, and even new projects beginning to form.

And that is incredibly exciting to watch.

For decades, connecting people and building relationships has simply been how I work. Now I get to share what I’ve learned and watch other people use it to create their own results. There’s something pretty special — and validating — about that.

The Connection Table is growing too, which means we’re putting more structure underneath it. My daughter, Edra Izzo, is stepping further into the operational side while I continue focusing on what I do best — creating the experience, teaching Relationship Capital, and connecting people.

Maybe that’s part of the lesson:

Know what you do well. Recognize what others do well. Then find where those strengths connect.

That’s Relationship Capital.
