 LAHAINA IS EVERYWHERE!! I got a call yesterday from Stephanie and Auggie, they were driving from Naples on the Gulf Coast over to the East Coast. We decided to meet up down in Fort Lauderdale to have lunch and talk story. I’m so fortunate to be able to have so many friends that are willing to make the trek and meet up down here in Florida. We have all had our own battles over the years, but we always make time to see each other and I’m so fortunate to have friends like these. We may not have much left, but we will always have our Lahaina Ohana for strength and hope… 🤙🏽

Lahaina is everywhere!! I went to visit some friends from our Surf Ohana just south of Daytona Beach, a place on the East Coast called New Smyrna Beach. Some of us haven’t seen each other since before the fire, but it sure was nice to be each other‘s company again. We had a great lunch at a beachside restaurant, talked story and then took a drive in Krystal‘s truck down the white sandy beach on the Atlantic coastline watching the sunset on the horizon…

Lahaina is everywhere!! I’m at Robin and his wife Carrie probably 15 years ago when they started coming to the islands and Rob would surf at Breakwall. We would always have lunch at Cool Cats or meet up on the beach before he was surfing. Since I’ve been in Florida, I was able to meet up with them for the second time now in Vero Beach for lunch. A Big Mahalo for our friendship, all the beat ups and good times throughout the years…
