Fuji-Q Highland has announced the closure of Do-Dodonpa. Do-Dodonpa and Hypersonic XLC @ Kings Dominion were both Air Powered Launch coasters (AKA Thrust Air Coasters) introduced by S&S Worldwide that are now closed - they’ve thrilled and inspired many with high speeds and outrageous acceleration. This model was featured in Chris Sawyer’s RollerCoaster Tycoon, playing a part in many lives, even of those who didn’t even get to ride it. RIP, Air Powered Vertical Coaster 2. 🎢 Do-Dodonpa @ Fuji-Q Highland
