What you’re seeing is a termite carton nest—built from soil, saliva, and f***l material.

📍 Where it appeared:
On the interior drywall corner of the master bedroom, extending into the adjacent closet. Termites moved through the wall system and surfaced where moisture persisted.

🌧️ Why they were there:
A long-standing roof leak on a roof less than three years old created the perfect conditions.

🛠️ Our role:

Termites didn’t create the problem.

Boomer Wisdom vs. Internet Advice 🧠🐭

Cold weather’s here — and so are the unwanted houseguests. Mice, rats, squirrels, raccoons… I’ve even seen ducks living in attics. (Not the cute kind — the Muscovy kind that leave a mess you’ll never forget.)

One homeowner tried to handle it on their own — bought every gadget the internet praised: strobe lights, ultrasonic doodads, sprays, you name it. Guess what? The rodents still won… and chewed straight into their ductwork. 💸
