It’s not working too much
It’s not caring about family less

The difference comes down to transition

Person A did nothing between work and home mode
Person B did a clear reset between work and home

Person A stayed mentally in work while physically at home
Person B switched fully into the moment they were in

Person A felt distracted even during family time
Person B felt fully present even after a busy workday

Because presence doesn’t happen automatically, it happens when you intentionally separate where one role ends and the next begins.
