A client said to me this morning: “I used to ask—How can I fix this? That was wrong and on me as a leader. Now I ask — Where are things unclear? What assumptions have I made? What unintended consequences stemmed from a decision I made, that impacted the direction of my team?”
The difference: control v influence. Going from a place of ME, past WE, to IT (the relationship/ the team).
