In the latest episode of Good Marketing with Stephanie, .does.marketing and Jenna Cornell mentioned and as brands with great online presences- though that’s not to say everyone can copy and paste what they do.

But, what companies of any size and in any industry can implement in their marketing strategy is effective storytelling.

Here are 3 simple things to think about when crafting your brand narrative:

📖 People: Who is doing the work for your business? Who are the key stakeholders?

📖 Process: How is your product made? How does your team work together? What are the important behind-the-scenes moments? What does it mean to partner or buy from you?

📖 Outcomes: Why is your work important? How does your company, product or service affect people? What can consumers expect from you? Why should anyone care?

"In 2023, the most daring (and rewarding) change in my life was founding my agency: LANC Marketing, LLC. As we set new goals for 2024, I'm going to let you in on a secret that I hope you'll carry with you into the new year:

No one—not Ph.D. academics, industry-leading influencers, or billionaire business owners—will ever know it all.

There's no simple recipe for success. But, believing in yourself and choosing to show up every day is a good place to start. Here are a few of the lessons and guiding principles I've used to grow my business in 2023 (and will continue to embody in 2024):

🤝 Team is Everything
In every business, people are your best asset. Even as the agency founder, I do not have a monopoly on all good ideas. So, I trust my team members to bring unique skills and perspectives to their work with LANC Marketing. This creates more value for our clients.

🧠 Trust Your Intuition
It's normal (and sometimes advisable) to second-guess yourself. But, experience has taught me to pay attention to my instincts. You can also acknowledge that it's OK to take a chance. If you find that something doesn't pan out as planned, these little bumps will help you grow.

📈 Take Things One Day at a Time
Like many small-business owners, I worry about success... and I worry about failure. But Rome wasn't built in a day—and neither is any successful business. Instead, it's built day by day, project by project, task by task. With this approach, you learn to prioritize and act in service of your larger vision.

I wish you a very happy, restful, and refreshing holiday season. As we head into 2024, I hope you will pursue new and exciting goals, embrace change, and work toward the best version of yourself. 🎆"
