The difference between convenience and safety is often just a few inches.

While staying at a vacation rental, I found myself doing what I always do—evaluating the bathroom.

At first glance, this shower looked great: a curbless entry, handheld showerhead, and a spacious design.

But once I used it, two small details stood out.

The magnetic handheld showerhead wouldn’t stay in place. Every time I adjusted it, it slipped, sending water everywhere. The shower controls were also positioned directly beneath the showerhead, making it nearly impossible to turn on the water without getting soaked.

For many people, these are minor inconveniences.

For an older adult or someone with balance challenges, arthritis, or limited mobility, they’re the kind of unexpected moments that can contribute to a fall.

Some of the greatest blessings in life are the ones you never see coming. 🤍

This sweet surprise reminded me that what started as networking, community events, and serving others has grown into something so much more. Over the year, colleagues have become friends, and friends have become family.

I walked into a room filled with people who have encouraged me, believed in me, supported Live With Purpose Consulting, and now took the time to celebrate our growing family. I left with a heart overflowing with gratitude.

To everyone who planned, attended, prayed, gave, and celebrated with us—thank you. Your kindness is a gift we’ll never forget, and we feel incredibly loved and blessed as we prepare to welcome our newest little one.

Yesterday, proved that taxes don’t have to be intimidating—or boring.

He took a topic that many people avoid and broke it down into practical, easy-to-understand strategies that could have a meaningful impact on retirement income and long-term financial confidence.

From understanding how taxes affect retirement withdrawals to exploring ways to keep more of what you’ve worked so hard to save, attendees walked away with actionable insights—not just information.
