Clarification Regarding Laboratory House Accounts and Business Accounts

We would like to address some recent misunderstandings regarding laboratory house accounts and business account setup for new diagnostic businesses.

When a business is newly established and does not yet have sufficient business history or credit, many laboratories may be unable to extend a direct house account immediately. This decision is based on the laboratory's internal business policies and credit requirements and is not a reflection of the business owner's qualifications, training, or potential for success.

In situations where a laboratory is unable to provide a direct house account, the business may be referred to a third-party organization or service provider that specializes in assisting new businesses with establishing laboratory access and business account relationships. This allows entrepreneurs to continue operating and serving clients while building their business history.

We strongly encourage all students and business owners to contact laboratories directly to inquire about account eligibility and requirements. Every laboratory has its own policies, and some businesses may qualify for direct accounts depending on their specific circumstances.

Our goal is to ensure that every student has a pathway to successfully launch and grow their business. If a direct laboratory account is not immediately available, alternative solutions exist to help new businesses continue operations while working toward establishing independent laboratory relationships.

We remain committed to providing guidance, resources, and support to help our students navigate the startup process and build sustainable businesses.
