Have you ever clicked the "Reconcile" button and... it doesn't equal 0?! Don't freak out, this even happens to me sometimes too. 🤫

🌵 Step one is to check that the beginning balance in your bookkeeping software matches the beginning balance on the source document that you're reconciling. ✅

If those don't match, you're going to have to go back to a previous month until your beginning balances match!

🌵 The second step is to look at the amount of your reconciling discrepancy. If you find that the number you're off matches the amount of one of your transactions, you've got it easy!

Check whether you've simply missed entering a transaction or messed up the date of that transaction.
