A 5,500 sq. ft. home in Southern Highlands taught me something I’ll never forget.

The colors were right. The house was beautiful. But something still felt… off.

It wasn’t the color. It was the sheen.

They’d used semi-gloss on the exterior, and it completely changed how the home looked.

My rule of thumb: exterior surfaces should typically stay matte or eggshell. Save the higher sheen for areas that actually get touched and need the durability. 🎨

Sometimes it’s not the color that’s wrong—it’s the finish.

Ten years ago I was standing at an auction like this.

No cameras, no audience, no one watching. Just showing up somewhere most people would not have bothered going.

The Lamborghini doesn't bring happiness. It brings eyeballs. And it fits one person.

The van fits everybody. Freezing morning at the field and I'm telling the other parents to come sit in it. Kids who aren't playing are in there staying warm.

It was never about the van. It's that it brings people into my life. 🚐
