ANNOUNCING OUR 2026 -2027 PROGRAM as a collaboration between LEVERAGE LAS VEGAS and TOURO UNIVERSITY, PIERCE AUTISM CENTER

SPECTRUM ARTS!! Executed by teachers from the Nevada School of the Arts! A special thank you to my incredible friend Barbara Molasky for working with us to help make this dream a reality for Leverage!! The IDD community is near and dear to all of our hearts!

The Spectrum Arts program, is an inclusive arts education program designed to create meaningful opportunities for children and young people with autism and other intellectual /developmental differences to explore music and the arts in a supportive, engaging environment. Through thoughtfully adapted instruction and creative experiences, participants are encouraged to build confidence, develop skills, express themselves, and experience the joy and connection that the arts can inspire.

This program piloted last year at Nurturing Care Las Vegas and was extremely successful under the leadership of Leveragelv Alyzza Suarez and Neneth Suarez along with Nevada School of the Arts!

For the 2026–2027 program year, Nevada School of the Arts is proud to offer Spectrum Arts in collaboration with Touro University Nevada and Leverage Las Vegas, the program’s development partner. Together, this collaboration brings expertise in arts and music education, inclusive programming, and developmental support to create high-quality, engaging arts experiences where students of all abilities can explore their creativity, build confidence, and experience the joy of artistic expression.

We are so excited to be partnered with Touro University and their Pierce Autism Center. Classes will begin mid September!

💙 When we invest in the adults, we change outcomes for children.

Last week, our team had the incredible opportunity to train more than 300 professionals from Acelero, Inc.'s Head Start programs in Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®).

TBRI is an evidence-based, attachment-centered approach designed to help adults better understand and respond to the needs of children who have experienced trauma, adversity, or disrupted relationships. These principles don't just benefit children in kinship care, they help create classrooms, programs, and communities where all children can feel safe, connected, and ready to learn.

We're incredibly grateful to Acelero for their commitment to early childhood development and for investing in trauma-informed care for the children and families they serve every day.

Every teacher, family advocate, and early childhood professional who embraces these principles has the potential to change a child's story. And that's the kind of ripple effect we love to be part of. 💙

HOT OFF THE PRESS!

We are so excited to have ignited a life changing collaboration between our incredible client Foster Kinship and dear friend Matthew Frazier for the First ever Sensory Room inside a non- profit facility in all of Nevada, giving special kiddos a safe place to go to relax, calm down, and regroup when needed! We have been working on this for over 8 months!!! Thank you to our dear friend Matthew along with KultureCity, to make this dream a reality!

A few words from Foster Kinship!

Foster Kinship is proud to launch our new Sensory Room, a thoughtfully designed space that supports emotional regulation, connection, and well-being for children and caregivers.

And it’s not just any sensory room! We are officially KultureCity Sensory Inclusive Certified, thanks to their partnership and the support of Matthew Frazier and the John C. Kish Foundation. More importantly, we’ve opened a space our families have been asking for.

This sensory room exists for children who are navigating trauma, transition, overstimulation, and big feelings, and for caregivers who need support in those moments, not judgment.

It’s a place to regulate. To breathe. To reset.

We’re incredibly proud to be the first nonprofit in Nevada to open a KultureCity sensory room, and even more proud of what it represents: listening to families and building what they actually need. 💙

This is inclusion in action. This is community care.
