A tribute to a national U.S. hero, Charlie Kirk. A faithful man who was assassinated at the young age of 31 on September 10, 2025, because he communicated his beliefs in faith, family, and patriotism. Charlie will forever be known to all as a martyr for these beliefs. Beliefs that millions of Americans share. Charlie is a hero, to all because of his courage to stand before persons who may have disagreed with him. Yet he continued to push the message that he believed all people should live by.
Charlie Kirk loved America and he wanted to defend America with encouraging ideas. Charlie believed in many things which promoted faith, family, procreation, justice, and freedom of speech. Charlie advocated for all people, no matter their race, religion, or socioeconomic background, so that all people could live in peace and may have constructive debates when in disagreement. Charlie believed to never let anyone silence your voice, even when it is unpopular. Charlie believed in doing something when you see something wrong and not just to talk about it. Charlie believed that conservatism is not nostalgia but a roadmap for a better future. Charlie advocated for all human beings, fighting against racism, socialism, and through nonviolent protests to achieve unity and peace. Charlie told his wife privately that if he ever ran for political office, that his priority would be to revive the American family. One of his mottos was to never surrender. The battle Charlie spoke of was spiritual. Charlie wanted all people to be saved. Charlie must be recognized for his hard work and his beliefs that many Americans and people globally believe. Charlie should be remembered always, as a man of honor, faith, and the servant of Jesus Christ. Charlie was assassinated for these beliefs. Charlie is now a national martyr.
For these reasons and more, we implore that there is a Federal national holiday in remembrance in name of, “Charlie Kirk.”

I will be reaching out to members of Congress to ask for a Federal Holiday in name of Charlie Kirk. I understand that signatures may be required with addresses for verification. Change. org has a petition out asking for a National holiday for Charlie Kirk. That's great but it limits the businesses and organizations that celebrate it.
