Hi Beautiful,

As a Las Vegas native, one of my favorite things is sharing local gems with my out-of-town brides and clients. I'm calling this little series Ava Tula's Vegas Favorites, where I'll share the places, I actually love—from brunch spots and coffee shops to date nights and hidden gems.

This week's favorite: Brunch!

🥂 1. Bottiglia at Green Valley Ranch – My newest obsession. Watermelon bottomless mimosas, amazing chicken vodka pasta, fresh bread, Caesar salad, and the monkey bread is a must. We spent about $40 per person, and it was worth every penny.

✨ 2. Wynn Buffet – My go-to when I want to splurge. Pro tip: I only go if I can skip the line! Yes, skipping the line is an additional fee, but I recommend doing it if you can.

🍓 3. The Cracked Egg – Perfect for a casual brunch. I always order the Island French Toast.

☀️ Product of the Week

Vegas heat is no joke. My favorite way to keep makeup looking fresh is the

Caudalie Beauty Elixir Prep, Set Makeup, Glow Face Mist (https://amzn.to/4bOsmbb)

It's one of my kit staples and I also just throw it in my personal bag. It has a herbal cooling sensation that helps your skin feel refreshed all day through the heat and long days.

Have a favorite brunch spot I should try? Just hit reply—I love getting recommendations!

See you soon with another Vegas favorite.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s sent friends, family, and coworkers my way—your referrals are the heart of my business.

If you know someone who could use a little hair and makeup glam for an upcoming event, school photos, or a confidence boost, I’d be honored to take care of them.

How was your Easter??? Did you cook any delicious food (I’m currently sticking to a strict meal plan so answer in the comments so I can live vicariously through you 🤣🤣🤣. Lol).

Yesterday we did church online, dyed Easter eggs, did an Easter egg hunt and had a nice little family dinner. It was so nice to take a day off away from business to fully reconnect with my boys over such a important time of year.

But here’s a moment of honesty.... I had a lot of fun but I really missed the boys taking pictures with the Easter bunny... I guess you can say I’m a sucker for tradition. Can you relate?

I guess we will just have to wait til next year. Until then I’m looking back on these Easter pictures from last year. ❤️ I’m the luckiest mom in the world.

“If you can't love yourself
How in the hell you gonna love somebody else?” -RuPaul

So my question is what are you doing to show yourself love lately??? Doesn’t matter how big or small.

I ask because I know as a mom and as a person with a lot of interests it’s sooo easy to get caught up in caring for others that forgetting about yourself. And if you aren’t loving you how can you really love others.

So here’s a friendly reminder to not forget about you. Make some time for yourself today even if it’s just 5-10 minutes.

Let me know in the comments.

Today I want to bring you some value by inspiring you through this little moment. I’m also going to share with you some helpful things I learned today.

This is a picture of me maybe 12 years ago or so (pre-momlife). You can tell by the MySpace logo and the low quality dirty bathroom mirror pic (it was all the rage back then). 🤣🤣🤣 haha

I was smiling on the outside but I was WORRIED on the inside at the time. It was the Great Recession of 2008, I had just lost my job & I was using the money I was making from my job to pay for my college education. I thought I would have to drop out of school because I wouldn’t be able to afford college without my job (btw God and UNLV blessed me with an emergency scholarship so I ended up not having drop out and I finished school ). Basically it all worked out and just in case you didn’t know it will work out again!

And here we are, over a decade later & it feels like 2008 all over again. Only this time we have A LOT more information, A LOT more opportunities & A LOT more accessibility to mentors & coaches who can help us through these challenging times.

So today I tapped into a training that one of my mentors had online.

Today I was blessed to join and his team on his live coaching. He talked about how to get through this current crisis stronger than ever before. In the next frames I attached the notes I took (I had to hop off a little early my son had a meltdown). He talked about accepting what’s going on now, having the right responses, being ok with starting over & how to create a priority list of what needs to be done.

Scroll over and check it out. Let me know if you have questions.

Xoxo,
Ava Tula
