Water Loss Prevention Tip

One of the most common (and expensive) home insurance claims starts with something small, a slow leak under a sink, behind a toilet, or at the water heater.

🔎 Quick monthly check (5 minutes):
• Look under all sinks for moisture or corrosion
• Check supply lines for bulging, rust, or kinks
• Inspect around the base of toilets for staining or soft flooring
• Make sure your water heater has no active dripping at fittings

⚠️ If your home has older rubber supply lines, consider upgrading to braided stainless steel lines. They’re inexpensive and significantly reduce failure risk.

A small drip today can become a major mitigation job tomorrow. Preventive maintenance protects your home — and keeps you out of the claims process.
