VICTAM Foundation Call for Funding 2027

The VICTAM Foundation is inviting researchers, organisations, innovators and eligible commercial companies to submit projects that contribute to the development of the animal feed and flour milling industries.

The 2027 funding call supports projects across three areas:

1. Future-Proof Feed Technology
Projects reducing energy costs and CO₂ emissions, improving animal welfare and supporting more regional production chains.

2. New Techniques in Feed Technology
Innovative approaches using alternative raw materials, improving resource efficiency, addressing technical challenges and developing new feed production chains.

3. Harnessing Animal Production Chains
Projects supporting feed technology development, training, practical implementation and upgrading of animal feed production in eligible developing-country contexts.

- Up to €50,000 for one-year projects
- Up to €40,000 per year for multi-year projects
- Co-financing is positively valued

Applications will be assessed on innovation, scientific substantiation, economic potential, organisational capability, project feasibility and social/environmental relevance.

For Category 3, projects must involve a recipient party in a country classified as lower-income or lower-middle-income under the applicable OECD standards.

Applicants should therefore carefully check the recipient country's classification before applying.
