Throwback Thursday: A little history from the place FAST calls home.

In 1916, Osprey Mill was built on the site where our offices are located today in Porterdale, Georgia.

Porterdale’s mills played a significant role in the production of cotton rope, producing more cotton rope during the early twentieth century than anywhere else in the world. During World War II, the mills supplied most of the rope used by the United States Navy.

More than a century later, we’re proud to work from a place with such a unique history!

He is always willing to teach, lend a hand, share his knowledge, encourage someone else, or simply show up when it matters. We’re incredibly lucky to call him our boss, our friend, and our fearless leader.

Doug had a great time at the 3rd Annual SERT FIU Training Seminar. While the weather wasn't ideal for our demonstration, it did a great job at helping attendees recognize the signs of self-heating reactions (if you know, you know).....Understanding the reaction and what the indicators are is an excellent way of connecting the scene with the laboratory data when testing a self-heating hypothesis.

Good morning from Tennessee! ⛰️🔥

We were so excited to get to the TN Chapter IAAI Conference that we decided to make an early pit stop assisting with a residential fire investigation along the way!
