When a fire threatens our community, it takes more than the firefighters on the front lines to protect lives, homes, and property. There are countless people working behind the scenes to make sure our firefighters have the support and resources they need.
The members of the Lawson-Urbana Volunteer Fire Department would like to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to these heroes who helped during the Lawson (Pine Tree Road) fire:
👏 Bruce Goff — OES Coordinator 👏 Mike Loftin — Union County Judge
👏 Charlie Phillips — Union County Sheriff👏 Dewayne Worth — Lawson-Urbana VFD Fire Chief👏 Arkansas Department of Agriculture👏 Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders👏 Arkansas State Police👏 Union County Sheriffs👏 Union County Road Crew
👏South Arkansas Now👏 ProMed👏 Lawson Baptist Church — for their support and for providing a place for the Command Center👏 Abe’s Old Feed House — for helping keep our firefighters hydrated👏 All of the individuals, businesses, churches, organizations, and community members who made donations and provided support and to everyone who answered the call, provided resources, brought food and water, prayed, donated, or simply asked, “What can we do to help?” — THANK YOU! ❤️
We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support shown to our firefighters and our community. 🚒❤️
This is what community looks like. This is what teamwork looks like.
