Well we've taken a beating as long as we can, and now because of fuel prices we're forced to raise our tow prices. In town towing is now $140 for anything up to 1/2 ton pickup, large SUVs are $150, and 3/4 ton trucks and up are $200. Out-of-area tows will have a $40 fuel surcharge added, and we will not service areas outside Comanche County.

Our hearts go out to the family of the owners of this towing company. Police Departments don't realize this is a risk we face every day, but the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Department of Public Safety require us to allow people to retrieve their impounded vehicles at any time after hours. Repo companies do not have the same requirements.

HOMICIDE - Two killed, one injured in shooting

We’re on the scene of a shooting at a towing company near Marshall and N. Garnett.

The preliminary investigation suggests a group showed up at the towing company to dispute a repossessed vehicle. An argument with ownership in the shop led to a shooting.

Two people died as a result of the shooting, and a third was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm.

This is an active investigation and we’ll provide more information as it becomes available.

Congratulations to the Lawton Police Department on hiring their next chief. Maybe now we can get back to impounding cars since the Lawton Oklahoma, City Government will be charging us $1150 per year just to conduct business.

Beginning today, May 1, 2026 all Lawton Oklahoma, City Government employees will pay an extra 15% for towing services.

Today I paid almost $700 to the city in utilities and business fees, and our great and wise city council thinks thats not enough. Still think Lawton Oklahoma, City Government is an inexpensive place to live?

We are monitoring the situation in Enid, OK and surrounding areas. Last nights devastating tornado has lead to a mass casualty event and the cleanup effort will be massive.
