The glowing eyes looking up the chimney flue are swifts. This time of year we get calls for “bats” making noises in the chimney and it’s usually baby swifts making the noises. Since they are protected we have to wait until they migrate south before we can install chimney caps to prevent it from happening again.

While on a bat job we noticed these gutters full of growth, even though they had some sort of leaf guards on them. The challenge for homeowners in this situation is they’ll now have to remove the guards to clean the growth out of the gutters. I’m not dissing the leaf guard manufacturers, but things to think about when or if purchasing leaf gutter guards for your home.

This was a turkey nest that a ground predator had destroyed. Unfortunately that predator got the hen also. This is a perfect example why we need more predator control.
Please teach your kids to hunt, trap and too enjoy the outdoors and to utilize the plentiful renewable resources.

This one was especially tricky!
After “volunteer trappers” had tried to catch this beaver they only educated it making it way harder on us. We tried our normal methods and tricks but kept being outsmarted for a while. We were finally able to connect and finish this one after months of trying.
