Patricia “Pat” Long

Augusta, GA – Patricia Lee “Pat” Long, 88, wife of the late Balous Edward Long, entered into rest Saturday, October 8, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late Lillian Watson Beeland and Ollie Beeland, she was born in Augusta, GA.
Mrs. Long was an incredibly strong woman who possessed an unwavering love for her family, along with her steadfast belief in hard work, faith and values.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 14, 2022, at 2:00 o’clock from the chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors with Pastor Ron Doss officiating.
Interment will follow at Westover Cemetery.
Mrs. Long was retired from Georgia Power, where she was employed as switch board operator; she was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church of Langley SC.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Leonard Thomas Sharpe III, her sisters, Dorothy Hilliard, Kitty Abbey, and Shirley Cooper.
She is survived by her children, Candace Sharpe, Kevin Sharpe, John Sharpe (Jill), and Dennis Riles (Alia); her grandchildren, Wesley Enfinger (Megan), Gage Enfinger, Megan German (Justin), and John Thomas Sharpe; her four great-grandchildren, her sister, Peggy Bowman.
Pallbearers will be John Sharpe, Chris Harrison, Keith Smith, Gage Enfinger, Dennis Riles, and Kevin Jones.
Family will receive friends from 1:00 o’clock until time of service at the funeral home.
