1. Eighty-eight percent of West Virginia's electricity production comes from coal?
2. West Virginia is the nation's leading coal export state, accounting for upwards of 40% of coal exports leaving the U.S.?
3. West Virginia coal exports account for half of West Virginia's total output and also contribute significantly to the U.S. balance of trade.
