From a spoil pile to a space the whole community can enjoy.

Noble Excavating is proud to have helped bring the new Flower Creek Trails parking area to life.

Working alongside Kootenai Nordic, the City of Libby, and Montana’s Natural Resource Damage Program, this project transformed the site into a larger, well-designed parking area that will provide safer access to the trails, room for future growth, and better runoff protection for the watershed that supplies Libby’s drinking water.

We are grateful to Kootenai Nordic for trusting our team to be part of a project that will benefit local skiers, trail users, and our community for years to come.

We cannot wait to see everyone enjoying the Flower Creek Trails this winter.

NOW HIRING: EQUIPMENT MECHANIC | LIBBY, MONTANA

Noble Excavating is looking for a skilled, safety-minded Equipment Mechanic to help keep our commercial trucks and heavy construction equipment moving.
This is a hands-on role for someone experienced with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, drivetrains, preventive maintenance, welding, and fabrication. You’ll work alongside our Shop Manager, operators, and field crews to complete inspections, scheduled maintenance, complex repairs, parts coordination, and field repairs when needed.

What we’re looking for:
2+ years of experience maintaining and repairing automotive, gasoline- and diesel-powered heavy construction equipment and trucks
Valid driver’s license and CDL required
Strong diagnostic ability, safe work habits, and attention to detail
Welding and fabrication experience
High school diploma or GED; diesel mechanics training is a plus
