I spent way too long trying to please the algorithm before I realized we don’t need millions of eyeballs to book out every year.

When an influencer goes viral... they make money. And my bank does accept likes and follows to pay the mortgage.

When your venue gets a million views from couples scrolling all over the world, it doesn’t equal more bookings.

We are a physical... location-based business.

We only need exactly 100-200 people a year who fall in love with our space...
see the value...
walk through our doors...
and get excited to sign the contract.

Instead of trying to entertain the internet... I shifted our strategy to building deep trust with local couples who can actually drive to our property.

Here are four things we do that actually book tours:
1. We write our captions with hyper-local keywords so we show up when a bride searches for our specific county.
2. We tag and collaborate with local florists... planners... caterers... and photographers to borrow their audiences.
3. We show our faces on stories regularly so couples know the actual human behind the brand before they book a tour.
4. We share the raw, behind-the-scenes work of prepping the property so they can see the care we put into every single event.

It takes way less energy than trying to keep up with a viral trend... and the return on your time is ten times higher.

👉🏻 Save this for the next time you feel behind because your latest post didn’t get a million views.

Day 1 of testing chat got ads for my wedding venue. Do you think they’ll work??

Nobody warned me about Mondays as a wedding professional. If we miss this on Monday, the week gets too short before we even realize it.

Save this and pull it up next Monday when you don’t know where to start.

Venue owners are chasing what “looks” successful vs what pays the bills. The banks don’t accept likes & follows! So don’t get discouraged. Keep trying, study it, refine, get comfortable being uncomfortable, and hit POST Sincerely, the venue owner who has to start recording 4 times because my kid kept interrupting!

They say growth happens just outside of the comfort zone, and it is very uncomfortable to feel out of place but demand to belong anyway. as is.

Whew, finally!! Where HoneyBook users are rejoicing, us Dubs users are jealous 😂 Tbh I rigged my own text automations with a matrix of Twilio, zaps, and duct tape for years. I’m walking you guys through how we use texting without spamming people or hiring an agency. What are your thoughts and questions about adding texts to your wedding business without losing control of your personal boundaries??

We don’t all have to become content creators if we’re willing to collab and work together! When we look at other wedding vendors as our team, not only do we wow clients with great service, we: -build our referral network -leverage each others audience -make great friends -actually have fun hosting weddings Do you do this??

Replying to in Florida someone said venues book 100 weddings per year, but I’ve spoken with hundreds of venue owners and can count on one hand how many achieve 100 bookings a year. The perception is out of control. 20-35 per year is the “norm.” Most venue owners had careers where they saved for a lifetime then leveraged their retirement or family land to start a venue and have never paid themselves a dime. Like literally working for free for years. Tours, meetings, maintenance, marketing, on call answering questions 24-7… oh and then actually hosting the events. Yes, there are corporate venues with in-house F&B, but thousands of couples are out here having realistic weddings without breaking the bank. They’re just not “fancy” enough to make the TikTok feed.

I know you didn’t sign up for offer creation + sales + marketing + operations. But it is the model that unlocks the life you want. It’s the Elite Venue Code.
