Here's something a lot of business owners don't realize: your Experience Pennsylvania listing isn't just a directory entry — it's a place to post deals and promote events directly to a community actively looking for accessible experiences. 🎟️

Running a weekend special? Hosting an inclusive event? Put it where the right people will actually see it.

Visibility isn't just about being found — it's about being chosen.

Before we made changes, we thought we were doing enough. Then a customer told us what it was actually like to visit us — and everything shifted." 💬

This is the story we hear again and again from business owners who join Experience Pennsylvania. It's rarely about a lack of care. It's about not knowing where to start.

That's what we're here for — helping good businesses become truly accessible ones.

This is exactly why we do this: a community that notices, appreciates, and speaks up for the businesses doing right by everyone.

Let's clear something up: meeting the legal minimum for ADA compliance and offering a genuinely accessible experience are not the same thing. ✋

A ramp gets you in the door. It doesn't guarantee you'll be treated with dignity, find a menu you can read, or navigate the space with ease once you're inside.

That gap is exactly why we built this directory — to highlight businesses closing it, not just checking a legal box.

Save this post if you want to remember the difference. Business owner? Comment "LEARN MORE" and we'll reach out. 📩

It's not always the big things. Sometimes it's a door that opens wide enough, a staff member who asks instead of assumes, or a menu that's actually easy to read. 💙

Every business on Experience Pennsylvania is here because they understand: accessibility isn't a favor — it's respect, built into the details.

This is what we mean when we say "celebrating accessibility, one individual and one establishment at a time."

What's a "small thing" a business did that made a big difference for you? Tell us below. 👇

Today, we're celebrating the people behind the work. 💙 The business owners who added the ramp before anyone asked. The staff who learned to communicate a different way, just because it mattered. The entrepreneurs building something better, one detail at a time.

Labor Day isn't just about rest — it's about honoring effort. And accessibility is effort. It's showing up for every customer, not just the easy ones.

To every business making room for everyone — thank you. This one's for you. 🎉

This week, we're pulling back the curtain: how Experience Pennsylvania actually works, what businesses get when they join, and how you can be part of a directory that's changing what "accessible" really means.
