Have you ever made a mistake?

Today was one of those days for me! I thought I had it all figured out. Measured it, cut it, screwed the boards down, and thought, “Man, that looks pretty good!”

Then I sat back and looked at it for a while…

Nope. That ain’t right. 😂

So, I had to go back, unscrew those boards, remeasure everything, and put them back the right way.

You know, sometimes life is a lot like building something. We make a decision thinking we’ve got it right, and then later we sit back, look at it and think, “Well…that was stupid!” 😂

But here’s the important part: you can go back and fix it.

You may not be able to erase every mistake you’ve made, but you can learn from it. Make a mental note. Measure a little better next time. Make a different decision when you’re faced with it again.

Mistakes don’t have to be the end of your story. Sometimes they’re just part of building it.

Learn from it. Fix what you can. And keep building.

And remember…measure twice, cut once! Apparently I needed that reminder today! 😂🔨
