In 2005 Russell was arrested for s*xual assault 2nd degree. Since that time he has racked up a criminal history in Lonoke, Pulaski and White counties that include failing to register as a s*x offender on a multitude of occasions, fleeing from law enforcement, 1st degree assault, absconding (not reporting to his parole officer), multiple counts of being a s*x offender living near daycares/schools, and did I mention failure to registure as a s*x offender on a MULTITUDE of occasions?

This morning Russell appeared before a Lonoke County court. Prosecutors had a print out of his criminal record when they told the judge that he is being charged, once again, with failing to registers as a s*x offender and absconding. Russell had a bond set of $2,500.

Also appearing before the court is Marcus, for the exact same charges that Russell has. In 2004 he pled guilty to S*xual assault 2nd degree. Since that time he has had a domestic battery 3rd arrest (dismissed) and several charges of failure to register as a s*x offender. One of which was nolle prosequi (dropped) in lonoke county in 2024. His bond was set at $10,000.

Lonoke county, the s*xual predator equivalent of a wildlife refuge.

According to records obtained through an FOI request, Lonoke County Chief Deputy Danny Clem submitted his letter of resignation on June 4th, 2026. This is the same day the case against Aaron Spencer was dismissed and Detective Robbie McCains employment was terminated.

Clem retired from the Cabot Police Department in 2017 as the Assistant Chief of Police. He joined LCSO in 2018, eventually obtaining the #2 position in the agency.

The United States Marshals Office is actively searching for Johnny Peeks. Peeks has a warrant for his arrest for the r**e and s*xual assault of a minor.

According to the Arkansas Department of Corrections Absconder list, the following level 2 s*x offender is no longer reporting to his Probation/parole officer. His original charge is s*xual assault 4th Degree. The Arkansas S*x Offender Registry lists his last known address in Hazen, Arkansas.
