I'm Meghan Cocchiaro, home organizing expert and owner of Organized by Meg ®️ LLC, based in Littleton, Colorado. Declutter | Organize | Unpack

My team transforms the homes and lives of busy women and families so you have more time for what really matters. I'm Meghan Cocchiaro, home organizing expert and owner of Organized by Meg ®️ LLC based in Littleton, Colorado. I help busy women and families save time, money and stress through our in-home decluttering, organizing and unpacking services. Our mission is to create simple and beautiful systems at home that are easily maintainable for families so that they can focus on what really matters. I left my 10+ year corporate accounting career in 2019 after reaching burnout and realizing the need to take back control of my cluttered and chaotic life. I began to explore my life long passion for all things organization, and it quickly blossomed into a small business with a big heart. I am most passionate about these three things:
1. Transforming the way people live in their homes 🏠
2. Inspiring others to live a more organized and productive life 🗓️
3. Designing a life that I love, from work to play and everything in between ❤️

I got my husband back into skiing too! We are missing one son here...we'll get him out next season 😉.

Unpacked, organized, and ready to use ✨

We are busy this spring with lots of moves. Our new home setup clients particularly love to outsource their kitchen projects.

Imagine having a kitchen and pantry that is set up to be organized and efficient from day one in your new house?

This is one of my favorite services we offer (I mean I love all of our services) but there is something about starting fresh in a new home 👌.

Working with Alyssa's family on organizing their new home after first working for them on the east coast was one of the best parts of my year.

Since I was starting my business back up in a new state, it was really nice to see familiar faces (and new pets 😍) and help them settle into Colorado as well.

Alyssa, thanks for handing me over your projects after your first hire didn't live up to your standards 😀 I am as thrilled as you with the results.

This mudroom and small den/office area in this new custom build home needed some organization after this sweet family moved in.

We designated zones for these parents and their 2 kids & 3 dogs, plus their cleaning supplies, kid's arts and crafts, house papers, and things to grab when leaving the house.

Mudrooms and miscellaneous rooms often are in need of the most organization because they serve so many purposes.

I love seeing the unique features in custom built homes. Did you catch the dog’s watering area and even the little doggie door? Too cute 😍

March marks 2 years since we became a Colorado family 🏔️

We have hiked, biked, skied, golfed, fished, paddle-boarded, white water rafted, tubed down a river, attended Avs, Rockies and Rapids games and explored college towns, mountain towns, zoos and soccer fields. Whew. 😃

We've also worked, traveled to and from NJ, welcomed visitors and settled into everyday life with 2 busy kids and 4 pets and all of life's responsibilities.

I've learned so much from moving and exploring a new place but I'll just share this one thing that I always try to come back to...

Simplify your home and your life so that you have more time to focus on what really matters to you. Say "no" to useless things taking up space in your home and say "no" to activities and people taking up your energy and precious time. Say "yes" to creating order and boundaries.

Oh and get outside ☀️ - it can do wonders for you.

Spring cleaning 💫

Many of us need to change the arrangement of clothes in our closets for the changing season and this should include kids too! I recommend sorting through kids clothes at least once per quarter because they grow so fast - especially little ones.

Pull out clothes that no longer fit and box them up for donation or for hand-me-downs. Add new clothes that are now in season and on size into the mix. Even if you're not tight on space, it can be helpful to put away kid's seasonal clothes if they dress themselves but don't always make great decisions (like shorts on a 40 degree day) 😉 Boy moms - I know you feel me.
