It is with immense sadness that we share the passing of the founder of LeNoble Lumber, Paul LeNoble.

To us, he was not only the man who started this company, but the heart behind it. He was a legend whose vision, strength, and unwavering work ethic shaped the business he built from the ground up.

LeNoble Lumber was more than his livelihood — it was his passion, his pride, his family, and a reflection of the values he lived by every day.

He believed deeply in hard work, honesty, and treating every one with respect. Those beliefs became the foundation of this company and will continue to guide us in everything we do.

While our hearts are heavy, we are incredibly grateful for his life, his lessons, and the legacy he leaves behind. Though he may be gone, his memory, values, and spirit will live on through our family and through LeNoble Lumber for generations to come.

We all want safer streets. However, the NYC Department of Transportation's proposed bicycle lanes on heavily congested and industrial streets in Long Island City will create unsafe conditions for bicyclists and pedestrians and will adversely impact the businesses that are the economic backbone of this community. The Department of Transportation has produced no traffic studies to show the impact of these proposed bicycle lanes on future traffic, overall safety and business operations. The proposal should be delayed until a comprehensive traffic study is conducted and alternative solutions are explored.

LeNoble Lumber Co., Inc. (located in Long Island City, NY) is looking for a part-time (potentially full time for right candidate) organized File Clerk to perform file management and maintenance.

You will organize paperwork according to an efficient filing system and digitalize all important documents. You will be expected to update files as well as make them easily accessible to your colleagues.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in computers and detail oriented.

The goal is to preserve the company's records and manage paperwork effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Sort all papers alphabetically and according to content, dates, significance etc.

• Create or update records with new files and information.

• Enter paperwork into an electronic system by using optical scanners.

Requirements:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Good active listening skills.

• Great time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.

• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Able to sit/stand and work on a computer for extended periods of time.

• Able to lift 50 pounds and reach/bend to retrieve documents and stock in cabinets and on shelves.
