Your website is supposed to be working right now.
Not waiting for you to send traffic to it. Not sitting there looking professional. Actually doing something, like capturing interest, answering questions, or moving people toward a conversation.
Here are five questions that tell you whether it is:
1. Can someone find you by searching the problem you solve, not just your name?
2. Is it obvious within 10 seconds what you want a visitor to do next?
3. Do you know the last time your site was backed up, and where that backup actually lives?
4. Is anything on your site supposed to capture leads but hasn't in the last 90 days?
5. If a screen reader visited today, could it describe your images and navigate your menus?
Two or more "I don't know" answers means your site has a second job it's not doing.
I put together a free checklist for exactly this situation. Link in the comments.
