Hi, I’m Ashly, the proud creator of Geaux Virtual!
With 2025 already in full swing, I thought it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself and share a bit about my journey.
You might be curious about our business name: “Why the ‘Geaux’?” Well, as an LSU fan, I couldn’t resist adding a little Louisiana flair! And the “Virtual”? That’s my way of saying we can handle just about anything—big or small—virtually anywhere. Whether you need help from across town or across the country, we’ve got you covered. Now that we’ve cleared that up, let me tell you a little more about me so you know exactly who you’re working with:
I’m a Longview native, and while my journey hasn’t always followed the traditional path, it’s been filled with meaningful experiences. After graduating from Longview High School, I earned my Associate’s Degree from KC—20 years after high school—and completed my BAAS at Texas A&M Commerce just a year later. I firmly believe it’s never too late to chase your dreams, and that mindset has carried me through life.
From running an oil and gas company to managing commercial and residential properties and self-storage facilities, I’ve worn many hats that have sharpened my ability to juggle multiple responsibilities. Staying organized, adapting to challenges, and finding creative solutions are my specialties. My diverse experience has given me a unique perspective on business and equipped me with skills spanning human resources, AP/AR management, and innovative problem-solving—everything needed to ensure your success.
But life isn’t just about work! My husband, Keith, and I are often out and about at community events or vendor markets, where I somehow always rope him into selling our door hangers, hand-print ornaments, and custom nutcrackers. (He’s a sales professional, so I like to think I’m just giving him a chance for continued education!) After these events, you might spot us at El Som, enjoying a margarita—or two.
I’m also a proud mom to Alec, who married his high school sweetheart, Allie, over a year ago. From Keith’s side of the family, I’ve been blessed with four granddaughters. Two of them live nearby, and they never let me forget that I’ve still got plenty of energy (mostly because they have enough for all of us!). They call me “LaLa,” and it’s a title I wear with pride.
In 2020, during the pandemic, Geaux Virtual was born. This small business started as a creative outlet and has grown into a way to help others succeed. When you hire Geaux Virtual, you’re not just hiring a team—you’re hiring ME. I’m committed to providing top-notch service and making sure your business runs smoothly and efficiently in every way possible.
