Two guys. Same trade. Same town. Same quality work.
One's booked out three months. The other's sitting by the phone wondering where everybody went.
The difference ain't skill. I'd bet money the slow guy is BETTER at the actual work. Been doing it longer. Cares more.
The difference is one of them has 80 reviews and the other has 9.
That's it. That's the whole thing.
Because here's what happens in the real world. A homeowner pulls out their phone. Types in what they need. Three names come up. They tap the one with the most stars, because that's the safe choice, that's the one their neighbor probably used, that's the one that LOOKS like the real company.
They never even see your name. You didn't lose the job. You were never in the running.
So let me ask you:
Does your website ask every single happy customer for a review the second the job's done? Or are you hoping they remember on their own three weeks later? (They won't. They love you and they still won't.)
Does it catch the unhappy one before it hits your page? Or does one bad day live on Google forever?
Are your stars stacking up every week without you lifting a finger? Or has that number been frozen since 2023?
Because reviews ain't a vanity thing. Reviews are the reason people believe you before they've met you. They're the difference between "I'll get some quotes" and "just send that guy, everybody uses him."
That's status. And in this business, status IS revenue.
Knock that domino over and watch what falls. More reviews. Higher on the map. More calls. Better customers who already trust you before you shake their hand. And the guy across town starts wondering what YOU'RE doing different.
I build websites that do this automatically. Every job, every customer, every week. The build is FREE. No setup fee. And when you call me, a real human answers. Me. Local, right here in PA.
